(North Haven) For the second year in a row, local, community-minded business Aquatic Pool & Spa, has pledged financial support of the NHTV Truck by becoming the "NHTV Major Truck Sponsor." The familiar "Aquatic" logo adorns the side of the NHTV Truck, letting the public know that Aquatic is, without a doubt, a caring, concerned member of the local business community.
The NHTV Truck is a mobile production vehicle, complete with heated/air conditioned control room. The NHTV Truck is mainly used for coverage of Town events such as the annual Memorial Day Parade, and many Town meetings, including those that air live from the North Haven High School Theatre.
Aquatic Pool & Spa has been serving the region since 1990, and was started by local residents Julie and Tom Laudano. The business has grown from one employee in 1990, to over 40 today. In 2003, they broke ground in Northford for a new state-of-the art store. The store was designed with the customer in mind and offers a vast array of pools, spas, patio furniture, fencing and landscape design items. Recently Aquatic has begun to offer cabanas, which can be built to almost any specification.
