NHTV accepts tapes from residents of the Town of North Haven, as well as employees who work in North Haven. Additionally, NHTV does accept tapes from producers within the seven (7) town Comcast system in South Central Connecticut, which includes the towns of Branford, East Haven, Guilford, Madison, North Branford, North Haven and Wallingford.
NHTV accept tapes from producers outside the area if producer has an "in-franchise" sponsor. Sometimes, depending on program, NHTV itself may choose (at its sole discretion) to act as a sponsor of program submitted from outside the franchise area.
Tapes are accepted in either S-VHS or VHS format, and MUST be recorded in "SP" mode. DVD's are also accepted, but must NOT have "chapters." All tapes/DVD's must have program title and exact time to the second (examples: "59 minutes, 25 seonds" or ":00:59:25"). All programs must be accompanied by an "NHTV Cablecast Release Form."
