The NHTV studio features three JVC HD250 STL16 High Definition (HD) cameras with rear-lens controls. Each camera has tally lights, as well as a headset to take direction from the Director in the Control Room. The studio walls are sound-proofed and echo-deadened with Top Priority brand vertically fire-rated soundproofing. The Top Priority soundproof wall covering is great for hanging show signs, as Velcro easily adheres signs to the walls. We have various set backgrounds such as plastic "fake brick" that's easy to move around. We also have a large chromakey "blue wall," as many producers use chromakey, allowing them to place any type of background (still, animated or live) electronically in the background. While talk shows are the primary type of program taped, many bands have used the studio as well. We also have a "Director-to-Talent" IFB system allowing the Director to cue the on-camera talent using mini-earpieces in the talent's ear.
