The NHTV Studio Control Room features all the equipment to easily produce a three-camera program, whether live or taped. Such equipment as a Broadcast Pix Slate 1000 HD Switcher, as well as legacy equipment such as a Videomedia Micron Edit Controller are maintained for legacy ingestion. Caller-I.D. and a telephone "dump-switch" give technical staff firm control over live call-in programs. This room can also receive satellite feeds for use in program production. Legacy formats such as S-VHS, BETA, 3/4" U-Matic and Mini-DV videotape recorders, as well as DVD recorders and DVD players, are in use in this room. An "IFB" system allows crew to easily communicate with on-camera talent.
