While the Obama/McCain race took the headlines nationally, the local races here in Connecticut were also important. Since 1989, NHTV has been providing live coverage of the all-important municipal and State races, and this year was no different. Though the race for the 34th District Senatorial seat (held by longtime incumbent Len Fasano, (R) was already decided as Fasano ran unopposed, the 87th District race between longtime imcumbent Steve Fontana, (D) and Republican challenger Veronica Kivela had all the makings of a traditonal, heated race. In the end, Fontana prevailed. Viewers were able to see the debate as well as "NHTV Elecion Live 2008," live election night coverage on NHTV. Below are candid photos of all the action at NHTV this campaign season. Thanks to Edward Lamb and Kenn Venit for the terriffic photos.
